Powerpop (like they classify their music) band Jupither is one of those multiple Swedish rock-bands playing mix of alternative rock and punk-music which keeps not well-known for pop-fans for real and maybe this time we would also miss them if we haven't discovered one amazing recent release of this band.
Actually some of you could hear the title of Dan Larsson's another group Tribal Ink that we've discovered thanx to their great Linkin Park-breathing track "Living On A Lie". Band has won TV3's show Wannabe in 2002 and later in 2006 Dan has become author of Melodifestivalen song "Oh Yeah" performed by The Elephantz.
But back to Jupither. In the end of last year band has released rock-cover of Katy Perry's "I Kissed A Boy" - really enjoyable strong and well-performed cover "I Kissed A Girl" on compilation "A West Side Fabrication Play Covers". But that seemed not enough for guys to start and finish this cover's life there and cover has got new arrangement closer to Katy's version but more electronic and with new title "I Kissed A Boy", new cover has started to sound like something really original in this common concept.
